Mohair is a fabric or yarn made from the hair of the Angora goat. Both durable and resilient, mohair is notable for its high luster and sheen and is often used in fiber blends to add these qualities to a textile. Mohair feels warm during the cooler winter months as it has excellent insulating properties, while its moisture-wicking properties allow it to remain cool in summer. It is durable, naturally elastic, flame-resistant and crease-resistant. Mohair is considered a luxury fiber, like cashmere, angora, and silk.

55% Mohair, 34% Wool, 11% Nylon, magical Mohair:
Mohair's high-quality sheen and exceptional natural properties firmly establish it as one of the world’s most luxurious fibers. But its real value lies in the fact that it’s made up of sustainable natural fibers that are a renewable resource. The Mohair production process is a synergistic relationship between both the goats and humans, making it a sustainable, ethical farming practice.
How to Care for your Mohair scarf:
Soak your mohair product in lukewarm water, using a mild detergent that is suitable for wool. Gently rub any areas to remove stubborn stains or marks. But be careful not to rub too hard. Rinse in clean, cold water. To dry the product, place it on a flat surface. Do not hang it out to dry. Mohair dries quickly and a quick shake once dry should restore it to its natural glory. Do Not Tumble Dry.
