As you know from my previous blogs, I am quite infatuated with Karen Millen as a brand and always happy to visit their stores when in doubt on what to wear for any occasion. Their beautiful yet sophisticated designs are loved by many and adored by me. I think my wardrobe is filled with Karen Millen for every occasion and various items for perfect combinations. I am a true ambassador by heart.
I had recently gone to an exclusive event held by the clothing designer Karen Millen where I was also joined by several of my clients. The Karen Millen clothing company was first founded in 1981 and the opening of their first store was in 1983.
I had purchased a beautiful blue Karen Millen dress at the exclusive event itself, as I always enjoy when a new collection arrives in the store. This Karen Millen design was a blue dress with a unique pattern design. The colour and design of the dress are very suitable for a day out.
This Karen Millen blue lace summer dress can be worn on many different occasions including a night out for dinner with friends or a late morning brunch as it suits the summer weather because the dress breathes and is light. I am loving our South African summer and all the beautiful colours that the season brings.
In the Karen Millen Autumn and Winter collections for 2016, they have decided to go with one of my favourite models, Karolina Kurkova to showcase some of the designs for the winter collection. The fashion house of Karen Millen created these designs to show the individuality of each of the dresses for each individual woman who wears them all over the world.
Karolina Kurkova was wearing the key lengths, midi dresses, strong hues and textures of the winter season. Karolina had this to say about the winter collection of Karen Millen:
