However, Ayers Rock can still be visited. Kind climbers can visit the nearby plateau of Kings Canyon, and take fabulous photos that capture the colours and serenity of the land of Aus.

I remember that in my childhood I was fascinated by a Balkan story-tale called “Legend of the First Kuker Warrior“- a combination of historical events and legends from the Balkan Peninsula, great geographic and technological discoveries, fantastic creatures and sacred rituals, disappeared with the continent of Atlantis. So, if you want to step into Indiana Jones’ shoes, let us get started.

Socotra Island, Yemen – The “alien” island of Yemen. Socotra consists of four islands in the Indian Ocean on the top of the African continent. The largest of these islands occupy about 95% of the total area of the archipelago. The landscape is made up of flora and fauna that look like a scene from a science-fiction film and can easily make you believe you are in another world or in the Old-Age era. Because of its isolation, Socotra has many specific plant species that are unique and are not found anywhere else in the world.

M

Machu Picchu, Peru – scholars used to believe Atlantis is a fictional island mentioned within an allegory on the hubris of nations in Plato’s works, Timaeus and Critias. The allegorical aspect of Atlantis was taken up in the utopian works of several Renaissance writers, such as Francis Bacon’s New Atlantis and Thomas More’s Utopia. This was before Machu Picchu was discovered. Coincidence or not? How does the ideal state Atlantis have so many similarities with Machu Picchu? Lost cities or the same city? How does high land Peru embroidery resemble the Balkans?!? Same culture or parallel worlds? The mystery remains the same.

Rapa Nui Island, Peru – Best known as ”Easter Island”, Rapa Nui is a land of mystery. This is one of the most famous places in the world, mainly due to the huge statues. Scientists cannot confirm who has made these statues, and the island is a complete mystery. Unfinished figures and a ceremonial settlement with its 53 stone houses without windows and doors are just some of the special remains. The biggest mystery, however, is “The World Cup”. It is said that its circular stone holds the secrets of the universe and contains the most important spiritual energies on Earth.

S

Stonehenge, England – In English Heritage, Stonehenge is probably one of the most famous megalithic structures. Presumably dedicated to the Sun, Stonehenge is an ancient necropolis. It may have functioned as a Neolithic astronomical observatory with economic profit in agricultural societies. This prehistoric monument contains a ring of standing stones, each approximately 4.0 meters high, 2.1 meters wide, and weighing around 25 tons. Archaeologists estimated that these were assembled between 3000 BC to 2000 BC, and can you imagine how many earthquakes this primitive tall architecture has survived?! Incredible.

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed.
U

Plateau Uluru, Australia – It is located somewhere in the middle of the continent, or Northern Territory, Uluru is the spiritual centre of Australian Aborigines. The legend tells that the plateau is empty and is a spiritual energy source. The Aborigines call it Tyukurpa, which means Dreamtime. The ancient tribes that lived around the plateau have left many stories from “The Time of Dreams” that have been painted on some of the surrounding caves. The tribes have maintained the belief that when one travels to the plateau, he will receive spiritual visions.

Mount Kailash, Tibet – The peak of this mountain is of religious significance for two religions – Buddhism, and Hinduism. Both have their own legends about the place, but an agreement is reached on the belief that the top is home to the gods. According to ancient beliefs, this enigmatic Tibetan mountain represents the axis of the world or the stairway to heaven. In many Eastern countries, Mount Kailash is considered the holiest place on Earth. When you get to the summit, they believe you are have reached your spiritual bliss. Although Mount Kailash is said to have been climbed to its summit by Tibetan seer and mystic Milarepa, it has not been attempted in recent times. Mount Kailash’s somewhat unusual shape has led to speculations that perhaps the mountain is not a mountain at all. Russian scientists have suggested that the top of Mount Kailash is a giant man-made pyramid from ancient times.

B

Bosnian Pyramid, Bosnia and Herzegovina – They have been here long before the Neolithic era. The radiocarbon analysis dates back to these pyramids at around 12,350 years. According to the analysis, the Bosnian pyramids are 1000 years older than the Egyptian pyramids. Below them are 3 rooms and a small blue lake. The lake is full of sterile, clean water, and there are no bacteria, algae, or microorganisms contained in the water. It is called “living” water because it can cleanse the body. This means that these rooms are “treatment rooms”. The ‘Bosnian pyramid complex’ pseudo archaeological notion is located in the area of Visoko, which translated to English means “high”.

R

Rila Mountain, Bulgaria – It may be surprising for you to learn that this mountain massif is believed to be one of the energy centres of the world. A coincidence or not? One of the greatest spiritual teachers of the 20th century, Beinsa Douno, has chosen to surrender his wisdom to the Rila mountain as a native of Bulgaria. The area surrounding the Rila Lakes has extraordinarily strong energy. Many super-sentient people have felt it and have received strange dreams while in the area. Modern science has never measured the energy levels of this massif and compared it to others, so we still do not know where the legend begins or finishes.
