However, both have so much history and an abundance of natural and architectural beauty. The distance between the two is approximately 90km and Borovetz makes for a fantastic base point to not only visit these two Bulgarian landmarks but to also enjoy one of the most popular ski towns in the country. You can see the 7 Rila Lakes in ‘Best of 2019’. Definitely highly recommended to all planning a trip to Bulgaria.
